Our wider impact

We believe all of our actions should add up to a net positive for everyone – our patients, our people, and beyond.

At CNX, we believe helping people means more than just compliance.
It means doing more. Pushing further. Working harder.

If every one of us does the right things for the right reasons – every day, in every action and every interaction – then it becomes so much simpler to look after people.

Our approach

At CNX, we want to be pioneers. We’re a new company so we’re not there yet, but we have big goals and the drive to achieve them. Our approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is ambitious and we are determined to do the right thing for patients, our people, and the planet.

Patients are at the heart of what we do. We have a robust supply chain and exceptional scientific affairs team who ensure safe, high-quality medicines are consistently available to people who need them, when they need them.

That means we:

  • Commit ourselves to three of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING, GENDER EQUALITY and CLIMATE ACTION
  • Are a member of EMIG and will be working with the charity International Health Partners to deliver money and medicines where they’re needed most
  • Maximise our impact by considering whether potential new medicines are listed as Essential Medicines by the World Health Organization

We have amazing team. Their talent, drive, and shared commitment to our Values are critical to our success. That means we have a responsibility to our team, and need to push for equity.

That means we:

  • Are an accredited Living Wage employer, officially certified Great Place to Work®, signatory to the Women’s Empowerment Principles and aligned with SDG5 on Gender Equality
  • Overhauled our benefits to make them inclusive and fair – from the perks we offer to the language we use
  • Support our people to be their best selves outside of work too such as through flexible working, 36 days of annual leave and support to help people fundraise for the causes that matter to them

You can find out more about how we support our employees on our Careers page.

From sustainability to charity support, we work to keep our employees and partners aligned around the Values that matter most to us.

That means we:

  • Are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2040 – by measuring and managing our own impact and working with our partners to reduce the impact across our supply chain
  • Support a company charity, offer paid time off for volunteering, and support the wider team across charity events such as triathlons, Santa runs, sweepstakes and many more
  • Partner with Evertreen to plant coniferous trees in Canada on behalf of each of our employees, contributing to a reforestation project aimed at restoring an area in British Columbia that was ravaged by wildfires
